🌟 The Mundubbera Enterprise Association Inc (MEA) was proud to support this year’s Junior Showgirl & Junior Rural Ambassador competitions at the Mundubbera Show 🌟

A huge congratulations to all of the amazing young people who participated. The confidence, community spirit, leadership and pride you showed throughout the competition was something to be very proud of. 👏

Programs like these play an important role in encouraging the next generation to become involved in our rural communities and agricultural events, helping keep our country spirit alive for years to come. 🌾

Well done to all entrants, finalists and winners — you represented the Mundubbera community beautifully. 💙

🦖🌏 Happy Dinosaur Day! 🌏🦖

Did you know Mundubbera is home to its very own living dinosaur?
Meet the Queensland Lungfish (Ceratodus) – a species that’s been around for over 100 million years!

This incredible creature has survived since the time of the dinosaurs, right here in the Burnett River. With its ability to breathe air and water, the ceratodus is a true survivor – a living link to our ancient past.

So while the rest of Australia celebrates long-extinct giants, we can proudly say Mundubbera still has one swimming around today. 💙🐟

Here’s to protecting and celebrating our unique piece of natural history – the dinosaur that never left!
