🏡✨ Housing Session ✨🏡

We had such a fantastic and energetic session on Friday, 15 May, all centred around housing needs and helping families feel more confident in navigating the rental market 💛

We kicked things off by talking about the real challenges many families face — overcrowded homes, limited space, and the need for a safe, comfortable place to grow. It was great to see everyone openly sharing their experiences and supporting one another 🤝🌟

From there, we jumped into the practical side of things!
🔍 We explored RealEstate.com.au, learning how to search for rental properties, use filters, understand listings, and spot important details.
📝 Then we set up 2Apply, walking through how to create an account and prepare a strong rental application.

We took our time going through each stage — rental history, ID documents, payslips, references — everything needed to make your application stand out 📄✨

The Q&A session was a highlight!
We covered:
💬 How rental bonds work
💬 Financial requirements and what real-estate and landlords look for
💬 What to expect during house inspections
💬 Tips for improving your chances of being approved
💬 Lots of real‑life questions from the group

The room was full of great energy, helpful conversations, and plenty of laughs. Everyone walked away feeling more informed, empowered, and ready for the next step in their housing journey 🙌😊
