WE’RE HIRING: Regenerator - ‘Field Supervisor’ 🌿💼

Are you passionate about large-scale ecological restoration? Do you have deep expertise in Australian rainforest regeneration and a knack for leading teams? We want you to help us rehabilitate endangered subtropical ecosystems and protect local biodiversity!
We are looking for a dedicated Field Supervisor to lead our field crew operations across Mullumbimby & the Northern Rivers Region, NSW.

📍 The Details:
Location: Mullumbimby & Northern Rivers Region, NSW.
The Role: Leading 3–8 crew members, driving hands-on ecological rehabilitation, w**d control, and revegetation, while ensuring strict WH&S protocols.

✨ What’s In It For You:
- Casual rates based on experience (aligned with the Gardening and Landscaping Services Award).
- Guaranteed 2 days/week supervising specialist regeneration shifts.
- Flexibility to scale up to a 5-day week with planting & maintenance shifts.
- A direct, transparent pathway to a permanent, full-time role for the right fit!

🔒 Key Non-Negotiables:
- Minimum Certificate III in Conservation & Ecosystem Management.
- At least 5 years of bush regeneration experience.
- Active Chemical Application Certificate (AQF3, AC/DC, or ChemCert).

Manual Driver’s License.

PROJECT UPDATE: Harapan Maju, Indonesia 🇮🇩👇

From May 22nd–25th, we successfully got 70,797 trees into the ground! This milestone is a shared victory, built by a community of dedicated partners and donors.

Our boots are on the ground and the momentum is officially building! We’ve just wrapped up a two-day planting blitz in Desa Harapan Maju, putting a total of 26,344 native trees into their new homes.

This is just the first block of a massive reforestation effort we have planned for Sumatra, and it was made possible by an amazing blend of corporate vision and grassroots community support. Shoutout to our launch partners:

🤝 Plant-for-the-Planet for an additional 150 trees

Our Doon Doon site is looking a lot greener this week, thanks to 7,492 new trees planted fueled entirely by Hotels for Trees across 4 planting days!

A huge shoutout to everyone who joined us on April 14th for our Community Planting Day.. your energy set the pace for the rest of the month (April 23, 28, and 30)!

Did you know? The name “Doon Doon” is believed to come from a local Aboriginal word describing the sound of a jumping kangaroo. By restoring this land, we’re making sure that “thump-thump” sound continues to echo through the valley for years to come. 🦘❤️
We’re keeping the momentum going with even more plantings scheduled for this site soon.

10,470 new trees for Doon Doon! 🌳💚

We’ve been busy on the ground at Doon Doon Rd, NSW! We are so proud to announce that 10,470 trees have been planted at this site, fueled entirely by the Ecosia community.

This achievement was built across five massive days of work:

🗓️ April 7 - 2,360🌳
🗓️ April 9 - 2,103🌳
🗓️ April 16 - 2,244🌳
🗓️ April 17 - 2,473🌳

These trees are more than just a number; they are a future home. By restoring this corridor, we’re providing vital habitat for local species like the Koala, the vibrant Wompoo Fruit-Dove, the rare Albert’s Lyrebird, and the Long-nosed Potoroo.

Our mission to restore the landscape continues! On April 2nd, we completed a round of infill plantings, adding 580 trees across two sites in Northern NSW. 🌳✨

Infill planting is all about “filling the gaps”, strengthening existing corridors and ensuring our growing forests are dense, resilient, and thriving.
The Breakdown:
📍 Newrybar, NSW: 254 trees (CFC-0024)
📍 Bangalow, NSW: 326 trees (CFC-0118)

This effort was made possible through the incredible support of North Coast Regional Landcare Network as part of their Caring for Catchments program (511 trees). We are so grateful for their leadership in regional restoration! 🌏
