We’re taking this beyond social media.

Last week, we were out in the community distributing these flyers across local mailboxes to raise awareness and advocate for the recognition of the Armenian Genocide.

Each flyer includes a QR code linking to a petition calling on the Australian Government to formally recognise the Armenian Genocide.

If you receive one, we encourage you to take a moment to scan the QR code and sign the petition. It is a small step that contributes to a much larger cause.

Recognition matters. Justice matters. 1915 Never again.

What a beautiful night of remembrance, commemorating and peace. Thank you to our community for putting together such moving performances. From poems and speeches to dances and singing.

Day 17

Remembering history means naming those responsible. Three roles, One major atrocity. Call it what it was: Organised, enforced and justified by Mehmed Talaat Pasha, Ahmed Djemal and Ismail Enver, those in power who destroyed everything the Armenians had except their strength and hope.
