We wanted to share an enormous THANK YOU to the beautiful Bec Cutrupi from .kids for hosting today’s charity fundraiser market 🤩🙌🏻
What a turn out it was! You worked so hard for weeks on end and all day non stop to get this to happen 💛

A big thank you to Our Mudgee community - being so generous with all the clothing donations and all their support and purchases made today.
I managed to score myself some goodies too 🙈😍

It was lovely chatting to you all today and meeting new faces and sharing the story behind our Loud Shirt Fundraising.

Hey everyone 💙

We’re so sorry to say that this year we won’t be able to hold a big fundraising event or raffle for Let’s Get Loud – Loud Shirt Day like we have in previous years. It’s already been a very full and busy start to the year for our family, and we’ve had to make the difficult decision to take a step back from organising a large event this time around.

But we are still incredibly proud to be supporting such an important cause close to our hearts 🫶 And will still be sharing a link and taking donations closer to the date.

We’re so excited to share that the lovely Off Trends will be hosting a market, and we are so grateful to have been chosen as one of the fundraisers involved!

Some of the Funds raised will be going towards supporting deaf and hard of hearing children and their families through Loud Shirt Day 💙 Every bit of support helps create better opportunities, resources, advocacy, and connection for kids like Arthur and so many others.

We would absolutely love your support at the market and can’t wait to share more details soon. Thank you always for supporting our family and this cause that means so much to us. 🌈✨

And 98% are born to hearing parents.

That means most families don’t see it coming. We didn’t either.

Loud Shirt Day isn’t about being “colourful for a day.” It’s about funding early support, language access, and making sure Deaf kids have every opportunity to thrive.

We show up loud.
We show up proud.
And we show up for our kids. 💛

Morning beautiful Mudgee & surrounding areas 🌟

I’ve seen lots of new faces here lately, so I thought I’d introduce myself.

Hi, I’m Olivia — local mum to two wild little boys, Artie (who is Deaf) and Seth. I’ve lived in Mudgee almost 20 years — this town is home.

In 2023 we welcomed our first baby, Arthur. He was also the first Deaf child we’d ever met. We were young, first-time parents and honestly… we were scared. But we quickly realised he’s still our clever, cheeky, strong-willed little boy — and Deafness doesn’t change how incredible he is.

When Arthur was 8 months old, we discovered Loud Shirt Day — an annual October fundraiser supporting children with hearing loss across Australia & New Zealand.

That first year was a simple lunch with friends at our favourite place Eltons.
In 2024, with the help of local businesses generously donating vouchers & services we held a raffle.
In 2025, we ran a Nintendo Switch giveaway and hosted a Paint & Sip night at Beryl’s Cafe.

Each year, this community has blown me away with its generosity.

2026 will be our third year getting loud as a family and as a community 🩵
Big plans are already in the works.

Thank you for supporting this cause and helping kids across Aus/NZ thrive. Let’s make this our loudest year yet 💙✨
