Tomorrow!
NAPS and NIGHT-TIMES- What's normal when it comes to baby sleep? What happens when your baby seems to want to sleep all day and won't settle for long of a night? What about night feeds? How can we help everyone get more sleep? How do you cope when your baby doesn't seem to want to be put down at all during the day and the washing (and fatigue) are piling up?
Come along for some information and support around babies, naps and sleep, and share a cuppa and some morning tea. Morning tea will be provided. If you are having a fabulous morning and would like to bring a packet or plate to share, that is lovely, however if that's not how your morning is going, then just bring yourself and your little ones, there's always plenty to go around.
Parents, children of all ages, and support people are welcome to this FREE session, whether your little ones are breastfeeding, formula feeding, or weaned already. Parking is easy in the church carpark, you can come in via the tearoom door (to the rear of the carpark- we will have to let you in) or via the garden gate (to the left of the building, has a child safe latch).
There are plenty of toys in our indoor and outdoor area to keep your children busy while you enjoy your cuppa. We do recommend little ones bring shoes (there are 'bindi's in the play area grass) and hats and sunscreen!
An ABA Breastfeeding Counsellor will be present and you're welcome to ask any breastfeeding and baby related questions you might have. All your breastfeeding and baby queries are welcome regardless of the topic- positioning and attachment, breast and ni**le care, mixed feeding, night times, starting solids expressing and storing breastmilk, etc.
RSVP's are appreciated but not essential. Please don't stress if you're running 'late' - this happens to everyone! Generally, we aim to start chatting about the topic around 10.30-10.45 once we are settled with our cuppas and the little ones have settled with their toys, however you're welcome to come along anytime 10am -12midday.
