Fifty years ago, a small group of individuals gathered with a shared goal: to find their voice. Since then, Glen Waverley Toastmasters has become a cornerstone of our community, empowering hundreds of leaders and speakers.

Whether you are a founding member from 1976, a current face at our fortnightly meetings, or a member of the public curious about the magic of Toastmasters, we invite you to join us for our Golden Jubilee.

7:00 PM (Sharp): Official Anniversary Program Commences

9:30 PM: Event Concluded

Location: Mount Waverley Community Centre – Hall A (47 Miller Cres, Mount Waverley VIC 3149)

It will be an evening of nostalgic reflections, keynote speeches, networking and, of course, the warm fellowship that defines our club.

"🎉 What an amazing way to kick off the new year! 🎊 On February 5th, we came together for our annual New Year's gathering, where each member shared their resolutions for the year ahead. It was inspiring to hear everyone's hopes and dreams for the upcoming months. Here's to a year filled with good fortune and successful plans for each and every one of us. Let's make 2024 a year to remember!

"Wow, talk about a rollercoaster of a meeting! 🎢🌟 So many things happened!

Tomi really took us on an adventure with his toilet roll crisis in Taiwan – who knew such a simple item could lead to such epic tales! 🧻💬

Then Nick decided to be our life guru and delivered an educational speech on the roles we play in this grand game of life. 🎭🎤 I'm taking notes, Nick!

But hold on, Margaret wasn't going to let Nick steal the show – she dropped some seriously fantastic speech structure tips on us! 📝✨ I'm feeling like a speech-writing superhero now!

And guess what? We've got a new member in the squad – Rishi joined the club and instantly became part of our awesome crew. 🤝🎉 Welcome aboard, Rishi!

Shyam, our incredible chairperson, was on fire today. 🔥🪑 Seriously, Shyam, you rocked that meeting like a pro!

Standing ovation (and a little happy dance) for Hong, who conquered the stage for the first time! 🕺🎶 You owned it, Hong!

Last but definitely not least, Renuka wrapped it all up with the general evaluation. 📊🗣️ Thanks for keeping us in check, Renuka!
