Friends of Tamborine National Park FoTNP are a community group revegetating Tamborine National Park - Become a volunteer and learn abou Volunteers meet on the first Saturday of each month.

The Friends of Tamborine National Park (formerly the Tamborine Bush Volunteers) works with the Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service on weed control and revegetation projects in Tamborine National Park. Tamborine Mountain has significant remnant rainforest areas in the centre of a large population centre in south-east Queensland. Projects include clearing degraded areas of weed species and replanting with local rainforest trees and understorey plants, plant propagation and nursery work. The Friends of Tamborine National Park have been successful in receiving awards for revegetation work.

November FoTNP Working bee
We will return to The Knoll Section, Tamborine National Park as we have some unfinished tasks to do. We will undertake some maintenance work, remove a tank, plant up a small area and there are always some w**ds to remove. Meet at The Knoll Section (at the old stone chimney), Tamborine National Park, near 50 Knoll Road Tamborine Mountain, UBD Gold Coast map 13 reference M-10, GPS coordinates 27 55’06.1”S, 153 10’56.6”E at 8:00am on Saturday the 5 November 2022. Remember to wear long sleeved shirts, long pants, gardening gloves, hat and sturdy shoes. Don’t forget drinking water and morning tea.
