The committee have made the tough call to cancel the 2026 October draft.

Numerous factors were taken into consideration, and we're pretty bummed to cancel after such a great 2025 event year.

Fingers crossed Mother Nature is kind and we can get two campdrafts back on your calendars for 2027.

Thanks for your ongoing support.

We have been very fortunate grant recipients this year. You may have already spotted our flash new ambulant amenities funded through the Qld Hydro Grant. A huge thank you to Andrew Rooney and his crew for the installation, and to Michael from DBC Mechanical for the delivery 🚚

In late 2024, we received a Powerlink Community Grant to start refurbishing our cattle yards ( an ongoing project). Thanks to their support, we’ve been able to make the entry gates much safer for our volunteers feeding cattle into the camp.

And just this week, we received more fantastic news that we’ve been successful again with a 2025 Powerlink Grant to fund shaded grandstands!

All this… on top of rebuilding the poor old bar — 2026 is shaping up to be a busy one 🥳

Thank you to our supporters! With your help, we’ve proudly donated $1,059 to LifeFlight from the part proceeds of the Novice Final Calcutta and run change fees.

Thank you for helping us support a service that’s there when our rural communities need it most.

Mother Nature thought we needed a sky view bar 😬 Might be time for a revamp.
