🚿 $27,000 RAISED… AND WE’RE ONLY JUST GETTING STARTED! 💙

We honestly can’t believe how quickly our community has rallied behind this project.

In just a few days, you’ve helped us raise $27,000 towards bringing a mobile shower truck back to South Australia. Every donation, every share and every conversation is bringing us closer.

We’ve now received our first quote for the truck itself…

Even at cost price, the truck alone is more than $60,000.

That’s before we even begin the fit-out with showers, plumbing, electrical, water systems and everything needed to get it on the road.

The amazing news is that businesses are already stepping forward to donate their time, skills and materials. This is becoming a project built by the South Australian community, for the South Australian community.

🚨 We still urgently need:

☀️ Solar supply and installation
⚡ Generator
🛡️ Awning
🔨 Metal fabrication for storage boxes and access stairs
🚚 A suitable second-hand truck to build the shower truck on.

Do you own a business, or do you know someone who does, that could help?

Here’s how you can make a difference today:

💙 Donate: https://showertruckforsa.raiselysite.com
💙 Share this post.
💙 Tag someone in the solar, transport, trucking, fabrication, generator or awning industries.
💙 Know of a suitable second-hand truck that could be donated or sold at a heavily reduced price? Please get in touch.

This isn’t just about building a truck.

It’s about restoring dignity, hope and connection for people experiencing homelessness across South Australia.

Let’s keep this incredible momentum going. Together, we’re building something that will change lives. 🚿💙

They say a change is as good as a holiday… and since our committee budget didn’t quite stretch to a tropical island, we’ve settled for a new committee instead 😍

New faces, new ideas, plenty of enthusiasm, and hopefully the ability to remember where the key is kept 😉

To our outgoing committee—thank you for your hard work, countless volunteer hours, and for simply rotating and not vacating 😮‍💨

To the incoming committee—welcome aboard! May your meetings be short, your fundraising successful, your inbox manageable, and the tea and biscuits never run out 🥳
