Rural Fire Service tankers bring bulk water to fire operations, both urban and rural, as needed. Having called on the tanker several times over the last few years we as a brigade decided it was high time to assist those who have assisted us.

As such today we joined the ranks of the ‘bulkies’ that can drive and operate the district 71 tanker with its 7000 litres of the good stuff.

Five members did the familiarisation and drive training at Area Office this arvo and will now proudly go onto the 24 / 7 / 365 call out list for this appliance. Thanks to the Area Office staff for the opportunity and training 👍
