Looking forward to supporting the incredible Leila Rose Foundation (Supporting children diagnosed with rare forms of cancer and their families) as the 2026 Thanksgiving fund for The Country Women's Association of Victoria Inc. - CWA 💕

🎉 We are incredibly honoured to share that the Leila Rose Foundation has been selected as the recipient of the 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗿𝘆 𝗪𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻'𝘀 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗩𝗶𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗮'𝘀 𝗧𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗸𝘀𝗴𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗙𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲.

For generations, the CWA of Victoria have been making a real difference in communities through their fundraising, volunteering, advocacy, and commitment to helping others. We are deeply grateful to be among the organisations benefiting from their generosity.

The support of the CWA of Victoria's Thanksgiving Fund will help us continue to provide financial and emotional support to families affected by rare childhood cancer, while shining a much-needed light on rare cancer and the impact it has on children and families.

We encourage everyone to support their local CWA branch - whether you're picking up their delicious homemade jams, cakes, slices and preserves or attending a community event - you're helping them continue their incredible work!

Chilly but a lovely walk this morning in Woodend! Join us on the first Friday of the month as we get together for a wander and a cuppa afterwards. It's fun!

A fabulous few days at The Country Women's Association of Victoria Inc. - CWA 98th State Conference. The CWA is so much more than just with policy resolutions debated across the weekend. The Social Issues Committee is very to have passed all three important resolutions on Banning Gambling Advertising; Clare's Law (Domestic Violence Disclosure Scheme) - Right to Ask & Right to Know; Increasing support for Foster & Kinship Carers. Thank you to all those who worked on the resolutions for many months and for Association members from across the State for voting for changes to make a difference 👍💕

An afternoon for our sold-out High Tea 🫖 ☕️🍰 event with Dress for Success and their new CEO Karina Bruce. Every person left feeling uplifted by the difference this amazing organisation is making to the lives of women across the age range - in equipping them to gain work and transform their lives. Thank you to Karina and the DFS team, and thank you to our incredible Country Womens Association - Macedon Branch volunteers and all who came to support us today 👗 💕

A very special day as the Country Womens Association - Macedon Branch celebrates its 100th birthday - having formed at Mount Macedon on 13th March 1926 as the original Victorian Branch of The Women's Institute (which later became The Country Women's Association of Victoria Inc. - CWA). The Macedon Branch, with 27 current members, has provided a place of fellowship, friendship and caring for those in need for over a century. A special day to celebrate some very special women - past and present - and all that lies ahead too 💯💕🍾

This fabulous annual event sells out every year so please book early to avoid disappointment in 2026. An inspirational afternoon is promised as well as the chance to help others in need of a helping hand 👗🍰💕

The Country Women's Association of Victoria and our thousands of members across the State extend our thoughts to those affected by the fires and the immense loss being experienced by many Victorians at this difficult time.

We acknowledge and thank the tireless work of the CFA volunteers and emergency services who have battled to save lives, property and communities across Victoria.

When safe to do so and as we have done for close to a century, the CWA will be working with local communities on supporting those affected by the fires during the lengthy recovery stage.
