🎉 OH, WHAT A NIGHT! 🎉

We’re still smiling thinking about the fun we had hitting the streets with Captain LeadSmart and our Bell & Moir-sponsored vehicle! 🚙💚

A huge thank you to Mount Isa City Council for hosting such an incredible event and for capturing these fantastic photos. 📸👏

It was wonderful to see the streets buzzing with the Mount Isa community, and even better to have Captain LeadSmart out and about spreading a little LeadSmart fun along the way! 🦸‍♂️✨

We’re proud to be part of events like this that bring our community together — and Captain LeadSmart certainly loved being in the thick of it! 😄

🤠 Captain LeadSmart’s Rodeo Weekend! 🎡🐂

Captain LeadSmart had an absolute ball at the Mount Isa Mines Rodeo this weekend! 🎉

From braving the Hurricane and dodgem cars, to checking out the show bags, grabbing a burger from Kik Bak Cafe🍔, finding the perfect Country Trucker Cap, and stopping for a few snaps with some of Mount Isa’s finest 👮‍♂️- he certainly packed a lot into the weekend!

And, of course, Captain LeadSmart was never too busy to stop for a photo with all the wonderful people who spotted him around the grounds. 📸❤️

A huge thank you to everyone who stopped to say hello, have a chat and snap a photo with our favourite cowboy. It looks like Captain LeadSmart might need a few days to recover from his big weekend! 😂

Did you spot us at the Isa Street Festival?🤠

Captain LeadSmart had an absolute ball high-fiving, waving and meeting so many smiling faces along the parade route! It was wonderful to see so many kids out enjoying the festivities.

A huge thank you to our amazing army of volunteers who helped hand out hundreds of lollipops to the crowd – we couldn't have done it without you! 🍭💙

If you missed seeing Captain LeadSmart (or missed out on a lollipop 😄), don't worry! We'll be at the Mount Isa Rodeo on Friday and Saturday evenings, so be sure to come and say hello.

🎉 The Lead Alliance is all set up at the AIDRWA Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Children’s Day celebration at Minnie Davis Park! 💚

Come down and say hello – we’ll be here until around 4:30pm with plenty of fun activities for the kids, including paint your own boomerang and colouring!

Our Program Coordinator, Cathy, will also be available to answer any questions families may have about supporting children to live safely with lead and to share practical tips and information.

🎉 We’re all set up and ready for a fantastic day at the Healy State School NAIDOC Celebration!

Come and visit the Lead Alliance team for lots of fun, including 🌱 seedling planting, 🎨 rock painting, and other creative arts and crafts activities.

We’d also love to have a chat about living safely with lead and answer any questions you may have.

Applications for the 2026 Backyard Improvement Program are now officially CLOSED... and wow, what an amazing response! 🎉

This year, we're thrilled to have 76 families, schools, kindergartens and childcare organisations taking part in the program. 💚

To everyone who entered – thank you! You're taking an important step towards creating safer, healthier and more beautiful outdoor spaces for the children in our community. 🌼🌳

Now the fun really begins! We can't wait to watch your backyards, gardens and outdoor spaces transform over the coming months. Remember to take plenty of progress photos along the way – we love seeing your hard work come to life! 📸
