The Citroën U55 Currus Cityrama is a futuristic double-decker bus designed specifically for tourist tours in Paris in the 1950s.

Features
Design and Production: Built by the French coachbuilder Currus, based on Citroën's U55 truck chassis.
Appearance: Distinguished by its large curved plexiglass windows and retractable roof, this vehicle was designed to allow tourists to enjoy panoramic views of Paris.
Use: Used by the Groupe Cityrama travel agency to offer a unique experience resembling sightseeing boats (bateaux-mouches) on the Seine River.
Condition: Described as one of the strangest and most futuristic buses of its time, only a few of these models were produced, and it has been noted that the last surviving example has been restored.

It’s a wrap for the Citroen Car Club of Queensland events for 2025 with today’s Christmas party at the Crewe street clubhouse . Great food , fabulous cars , cool people , boules competition and Dirty Santa gift celebration . It has been a great year including the spectacular hosting of the National Cit -In back in May . Joyeux Noel tout le monde .

We had an excellent turnout for the postponed Lamington excursion today. Three Tractions Avant, two DS 23’s, two C5’s
, two C4’s one ID19 , one Cactus and a nice two tone grey 2CV. Lots of whip birds and Antarctic Beech trees , fog and great food thrown in . Spectacular views to the Gold Coast and Murwillumbah from the Walk to the best of all lookout to work off the dining . Thanks to Anthony for organizing the event and Victor for leading the charge up the mountain.
