June marks Pride Month, a time to recognise and celebrate LGBTIQA+ communities. Having supportive adults in a young person’s life can play a major role in helping them feel seen, safe, and understood.

Join our free online text-based group chat to connect with other adults, share experiences, and explore ways to support LGBTIQA+ young people, while building a greater understanding of the challenges they may face.

National Reconciliation Week

The theme is ‘All In’, calls for all Australians to commit wholeheartedly to reconciliation.

National Reconciliation Week is a time for all Australians to learn about our shared histories, cultures, and achievements, and to explore how each of us can contribute to achieving reconciliation in Australia. First Nations people, who have carried the weight of champion, explaining and acting for far too, long. Reconciliation will not happen by itself, and it will not happen without all of us.

Ever wanted to try Dungeons and Dragons but didn't know where to start? The library hosts a Youth D&D Club twice a month - with sessions coming up Saturday this week and Friday next week! Come drop by, roll some dice and slay some monsters! ⚔

Today is National Sorry Day. A day to acknowledge and honour the strength, resilience and ongoing journeys of Stolen Generation survivors, their families and communities. We also recognise the lasting impacts of forced child removal and the ways these continue to affect First Nations children, young people, families and communities today.

At headspace, we believe every First Nations young person has the right to access culturally safe, inclusive and healing-centred support.

If today brings up difficult feelings, support is available. Visit the link below to explore support options.🖤💛❤️
