The First Mount Gambier Zombie Walk was held in Vansittart Park on the 27th of November 2010, gold coin donations were gathered to help support The Guide Dogs association. This was a success & raised over $150.00 and 30 zombies attended the first walk. In 2011 on the 12th of November, the Zombie Walk started at 3pm at the Vansittart Park gates. We walk down Commercial street west, on to Mitchell s
t and to PURPLEZ night club. We held a Guide dogs charity BBQ and After Party, We raised $300 and had around 60 zombies. In 2012 on the 27th of October, the Zombies met at the Old Blue Lake Tower. We raised funds for our furry friends at the South East Animal Welfare League. Our goal was to raise $500 to help rebuild the league by purchasing ‘The Silver Brick Package’ and getting the Mount Gambier Zombie Walk name and a message displayed. I'm happy to say we raised our $500 for the South East Animal Welfare League, 21 zombies walked with us this year. In 2013 we came together on the 26th of October, the Zombies met up in Vansittart Park at 5pm for photos, face painting and a BBQ. This year’s our chosen charity was Cystic Fibroses SA. At 7pm we left from Vansittart Park and headed off down to Commercial Street and onto the Cave Gardens. I found myself swamped by zombie children as I handed out loot bags of lollies and pizza vouchers. We held a Halloween After Party at Shadows Entertainment Center Doors Opened at 8pm a $10 entry fee was asked, Zombie Attendees got in for $5. Prizes where generously donated this year by local businesses and where awarded to the Best Zombie Couple, Best Male Zombie and Best Female Zombie. We raised $700 for Cystic Fibroses SA, and had well over 80 zombie attended
In 2014, we rose again to help support Friends of Native Wildlife South East. On the 1st of November we met up in Vansittart Park at 5pm, the walk started at 7pm. As we left Vansittart Park and headed to our destination, Zombie's filled the streets in search of Lollies, Raffles and Best Dressed Prizes. Which all awaited them at the Cave Gardens. We held a Halloween After Party at Shadows Entertainment Center Doors Opened at 9pm a $10 entry fee was asked, Zombie Attendees got in for $5. Live Bands Wounded Pig, HereAfter, Birds of Prey and Anarkokult Performed for the Zombies and ALL PRIZES where generously donated this year by local businesses in Mount Gambier and where awarded to the Best Dressed Zombies. This year $1786.35 for Friends of Native Wildlife South East (FONWSE)

The Moon was Full and the Earth began to tremble, Zombies pop out of the ground in search of Meals on Wheels, this years Charity. We met up in Vansittart Park at 5pm, the walk started at 7pm. Which all awaited them at the Cave Gardens, a 15+ Horror movie was held on the Main Corner after the walk, then at 9pm
