🪖 EX COLD HARBOUR 🪖

Over the June long weekend, members of 48ACU and 410ACU participated in Ex Cold Harbour, a field activity designed to challenge and develop a variety of skills.

Throughout the exercise, cadets and staff took part in activities focused on fieldcraft, navigation, teamwork, leadership, and resilience. Despite the challenges presented, all participants demonstrated enthusiasm, determination, and a willingness to learn, making the activity a great success.

The exercise also provided an opportunity to recognise the achievements. Congratulations to Jesse Pittard on his promotion to CDTLCPL from CDT as well as Kayley Kemp on her promotion from 2LT(AAC) to LT(AAC).

48ACU would like to extend a sincere thank you to A Coy 10/27 Reserves, SGT Josh Clark and PTE Nat Oorthuis, for their support throughout the weekend. Their knowledge, professionalism, and willingness to share their experiences greatly enhanced the training and provided valuable learning opportunities for our cadets .

Well done to everyone who participated in Ex Cold Harbour. We look forward to seeing the skills and confidence gained throughout the weekend continue to grow at future activities.

A huge thank you to the ACS and visiting Senior Cadets who made this activity possible, without you we wouldn’t be able to run these activities for the cadets.

A huge thank you to our amazing cadets for putting their hands up, to the parents for their support during the holidays, and to everyone who helped make these commemorations so special.
