Mt Evelyn Street Party Join us on Sunday October 26, 2025 for the Mt Evelyn Street Party showcasing and celebrating our community. 10am–4pm, Wray Crescent, Mount Evelyn

The Mt Evelyn Street Party is a biennial event in one of Melbourne’s best kept secrets; on the outskirts of Melbourne metro, at the junction of the Dandenongs and Yarra Valley, is our beautiful and vibrant township. Hosted by Mt Evelyn Township Group, the Street Party commenced in 2001 and has evolved into a feature event on the Yarra Ranges calendar, attracting people from all over. At Mt Evelyn’

s Street Party we celebrate the 1950s in a way that you’ve never seen it before; with rock’n’roll dancing, musicians and roving performers, fashion contests, classic cars, school children on stage, memorabilia and the Mt Evelyn Pin Up Competition. There are competitions, loads of free activities for children and a huge marketplace, as well as plenty of food and drinks both from stallholders and our superb local cafes. From our amazing stallholders sharing their goods and passions, to the volunteers who gave their time to help the day run smoothly, the incredible performers and school choirs who brought the streets alive with music and entertainment, and the photographers who captured all the special moments – we couldn’t have done it without you.

A massive shoutout also to our sponsors and supporters, whose generosity helps bring this community celebration to life year after year. Every big or small contribution makes a difference, and it’s what makes the Mt Evelyn Street Party so special.

A huge thank you to our amazing photographers, Toby McNamara, Bec Gilbert, and James Taylor, all who worked tirelessly in the rain to capture the spirit of the day. They faced some serious weather challenges, so while they couldn’t get around to everyone, they still managed to capture plenty of community magic. 💛
