We're thrilled to announce the launch of the new Mount Evelyn Talking Cafe!

We're so pleased to partner with Mt Evelyn Community House and Reading Room to bring you this fantastic initiative as part of the Living Our Best Life Social Prescribing Program.

☕️The Talking Café is a warm, welcoming space designed to help seniors meet new people, build confidence, and discover local activities.
Hosted by friendly, trained volunteers, these informal drop-in sessions are the perfect first step for anyone looking to get more involved in the community.

Simply pop in, enjoy a relaxed chat, and find out about all the wonderful things happening right in your neighborhood. Everyone is welcome!

It was fantastic to see so many turn up with their coats, umbrellas and hats to walk today. While it was a bit wet at times it didn’t dampen the conversation or the beauty of the trail in the rain.

Thank you to our guest walkers, Anita and Julia from
Eastern Community Legal Centre. (ECLC) Carers received updates on some of the services and had the opportunity to ask all sorts of questions. For more information about ECLC visit https://eclc.org.au/

We appreciate the strong involvement and support from Yarra Ranges Council. We are lucky to have Jenna, Disability Inclusion Officer, who keeps us up to date with news on what is happening around the shire.

We enjoyed a delicious hot drink and muffin from Billy Goat Hill Brasserie and generously funded by Community Bank Mt Evelyn
