Golf Mon Dec 15th
A great day was enjoyed by members who headed to Winchelsea for a competitive round of nine holes of golf.

The course was in good condition and the weather was kind, making for an enjoyable and social game for players of any ability.

After golf, everyone made their way to the local hotel where we sat down to a well-earned lunch.
It was a great opportunity to unwind, share a few laughs, and recap the highlights (and near misses) from the course. ( And you thought fishermen were the only one good at telling tall tales.....)

Our organiser, Laurie, was looking for any and all ways to make sure that Gerard did not win, again! He noticed that
only one of the 3 competing teams had put their names on the card. (Helped by the fact that Laurie was on the team
that had put their names on the card).

So Laurie made the decision that the other teams were disqualified!!

New Safety Initiative (In case you missed the news letter)
The Committee has reviewed safety practices within the workshop. As a result, a decision has been made to strengthen our approach to power tool safety.
From January, current power tool privileges for all members will be reset.
Any member wishing to use a power tool will need to be re-assessed by a Committee member.

To be deemed competent on a particular machine, members will be required to demonstrate that they can correctly set up the
machine and operate it in a safe manner.

This process is to promote the safety and wellbeing of all members in the workshop.
Your cooperation and understanding are appreciated as we work together to maintain a safe environment for everyone.

Hi Folks We are thinking about investing in a 3d Printer to aid in the community projects we undertake.

Do any other Men's sheds have a 3 d printer? How do you use it?

If we had a 3D printer what projects would school/community groups like undertaken?
