It was great to be joined by our Ceva Delegates this week, following the second round of negotiations with the negotiating team.
While Ceva have accepted the expiry date claim, other claims that are vital to protecting job security and improving conditions at work have yet to be accepted. Ceva Delegates attended their report back and indicated that they're united for a better workplace.

Workers across the industry are getting on board with the 2026 campaign and joining the union in droves, because they know that the Transport Workers’ Union doesn’t just talk. This is a Union that goes out, secures victories and fight to get results for workers.

Just this morning, 34 new members joined the Union at Coles CFC Wetherill Park on the AM shift alone. Just one of many examples where workers are getting on board with the fight for 2026 ✊

Hundreds of Swissport workers signed a claim for better hours and secure work. We wrote to CEO Tony Filacouridis to call on:

⏰ More contracted hours for workers regularly working hours full-time hours
🔁 A transparent pathway to full-time employment.
✈️ Commit to secure, permanent full-time jobs where work is regular and ongoing.

Swissport has stayed silent.

But pressure is building. The more union members we have, the harder it is for Swissport to ignore the demand fair and safe work.
