The Final Spiritual Session of Al-Hidayah Sydney 2026 was delivered by Prof. Dr. Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri , bringing the camp to a deeply moving conclusion with a powerful discourse on Tasawwuf, Tazkiyah al-Nafs (Purification of the Soul), and the transformative power of righteous companionship.
Reflecting on the realities of modern life, he explained that although humanity has reached remarkable heights in technology, science, and material progress, the world continues to witness rising levels of loneliness, anxiety, and depression. The reason, he explained, is that while we constantly nourish our bodies, we often neglect the soul the very part of us that longs for Allah ﷻ.
Drawing upon the Holy Qur'an, Prof. Dr. Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri beautifully explained that the soul finds its true nourishment through the remembrance of Allah ﷻ, Salah, the Holy Qur'an, sincere Du'a, and the blessed company of the righteous. He reminded participants that spiritual gatherings such as Al-Hidayah are not merely events they are opportunities to revive the heart, purify the soul, and strengthen our relationship with our Creator.
Throughout the session, he reflected on the timeless wisdom of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, Imam Abu Hamid al-Ghazali (RA), and Data Ganj Bakhsh Hazrat Ali Hujwiri (RA). Quoting their teachings, he highlighted that true self-recognition leads to the recognition of Allah, and that lasting peace can never be achieved through worldly success alone, but through the purification of the heart and sincere devotion to Allah ﷻ.
The session concluded with a heartfelt reminder that while this world may satisfy the body, only a heart filled with the remembrance of Allah ﷻ can satisfy the soul. As Al-Hidayah Sydney 2026 came to an end, participants departed with renewed faith, inspired to continue their journey of self-purification, spiritual growth, and closeness to Allah ﷻ.
