Mount Beauty Rotary Club

13/08/2026

Rotary will be at the Hoppet again this Saturday providing food for hungry skiers and supporters!
There’ll be our loaded Farm to Fork sausages, kranskies with sauerkraut and a fresh Mt Beauty Bakery bread roll and vegeburgers of course.
We will have some soft drinks too. Eftpos is available.
Well done to the Hoppet Committee getting an event together this year and wishing everyone a good ski, fine weather and a fun day!

Mt Beauty Rotary welcomes our new RYE student Ann-Sophie who will be staying with local families and attending our local secondary college for the next 12 months. Ann-Sophie comes from Germany and is new to skiing but guess where she was on day 3 in Australia?!
Ann-Sophie attended her first Australian Rotary meeting last Monday and exchanged Club Banners with Phil Rundle, the 2026/27 President of Mt Beauty Rotary.

04/06/2026

Ann-Sophie arrives in July from a small town near Munich in Germany where her family runs a boutique bakery.
Ann-Sophie will attend school at Mount Beauty Secondary College.
The Rotary Club of Mount Beauty is seeking a small number of host families who are willing to open up their home to Ann-Sophie for two to three months. Families of all types may apply to take this opportunity to host Ann-Sophie. They do not need to have the same aged children, or any children at all for that matter. They just need a safe and welcoming home environment. Ongoing support is provided by the local Rotary Club.
