🌸 Did you know we're powered entirely by volunteers?

That's right! The Pearl Lotus Fund is run by people who generously give their time, energy and passion to help make a difference.

No big corporate offices. No fancy extras. Just a shared belief that education can change lives.

Being volunteer-run means the large majority of funds raised can go directly towards supporting our projects in Nepal.

And we couldn't do it without our wonderful community of supporters.

ONE WEEK ON… AND OUR HEARTS ARE STILL SO FULL 💜

It's hard to believe it's already been a week since our special event with Gym Lab Apollo Bay

We wanted to take a moment to reflect on the day and say a massive THANK YOU to everyone who came along, showed their support and helped make it so memorable.

To the amazing team at Gym Lab Apollo Bay thank you for your generosity, support and for being part of something so special. We are incredibly grateful.

To everyone who attended, thank you for showing up, getting involved and bringing such wonderful energy. Your support means more than you know.

To everyone who helped spread the word and supported us along the way, we appreciate every single one of you.

Events like this remind us of the power of community and what can happen when people come together with kindness, generosity and a shared purpose.

One week later, we are still smiling, still grateful and feeling inspired for what's to come ✨

🏔️ A little piece of Nepal magic!

Nepal is home to some of the world's most breathtaking mountains, colourful traditions and beautiful communities.
But tucked away in the remote Himalayan villages, getting to school and accessing educational resources can be a challenge.
That's where our hearts are. ❤️

We are passionate about supporting children in these communities and helping create opportunities for brighter futures.

What an incredible evening in Apollo Bay! 🌿

Louise and Mingma recently visited Apollo Bay to share the story of the Pearl Lotus Fund and talk about the important work we are doing.

We were absolutely thrilled to welcome a sell-out crowd of more than 70 people! It was wonderful to see so much interest, support and generosity from the local community.

A very special thank you to our wonderful Treasurer, Tim Nolan, for organising the event and to everyone who came along to hear more about the Pearl Lotus Fund and the work we’re so passionate about.

A wonderful day of sharing food and culture! 🌿🥟

Mingma recently spent time at Apollo Bay P-12 School, showing students how to prepare simple, nutritious and delicious Nepali food, with the wonderful support of teaching staff member Nattie Murray.

It was a great opportunity to share a little taste of Nepal while encouraging the students to get involved, learn new skills and enjoy cooking together.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who has donated and supported our efforts to help people affected by the disaster in Nepal ❤️

Mingma is preparing to travel to Nepal and will meet with the local council and community to collaborate on the distribution of funds, helping ensure support reaches children and families in the affected areas.

STANDING WITH NEPAL 🇳🇵❤️

We are touching base with our community as our thoughts remain very much with the people of Nepal during this incredibly difficult time.

The floods and landslides have caused devastation across affected communities, with many families facing uncertainty, loss and the enormous challenge of rebuilding their lives.

Behind every news report are real people; children, parents, grandparents and entire communities whose lives have been deeply impacted.

The Pearl Lotus Fund is continuing to stay connected with our local contacts and is preparing to provide practical support to affected families, particularly children and families in remote regions where support can be especially difficult to access.
