Variety Bash - Car 666 Hotel Transylvania

That is a wrap. 2024 Variety Bash is complete and the final tally of money raised came in at over $1.5 million! This is a staggering contribution to Variety, the Children's Charity.

We couldn't be more proud of the work we do to give back to the kids in need. We are so grateful to everyone who helped us raise $17,500 this year.

Our final night was celebrated at Spinifex Brewery. One final night shared with our Variety family and now we are on our way back to the Great Southern.

Final day!!!! We have reached the finish line in Broome. True to style, the convoy into town was amazing!!!! The public were out to watch us all roll into town.

We crossed the finish line on Cable Beach and it brought the crowds. We handed over 1 final cheque of $5000 and celebrated together as a Bash family for achieving something huge.

Tonight we will have our final night event at Spinifex Brewery to hear the final figure for what we have all fundraised. And, we will hear what 2025 has in store for us.

We had a late start from Mount Hart but nothing that held us back for too long. We caught up with the crew at Derby District High School and then belted the hearse through some bush tracks. We came in at Birdwood Downs just as the sun was setting for our final night of camping. Toga night was the theme of the day and a band to get us dancing.

We have made it to Mt Hart. Wow!!!! The scenery hasn't disappointed. We have had just a couple of issues, but nothing that has kept us still for too long.

We visited Wananami Remote Community School to hand over another grant. It was awesome to engage with the kids and see their faces light up. We are visiting schools that are so remote and they rarely see this many visitors, so it's a real hoot!

We have met many other kids along the way who have loved seeing all the Bash cars. To raise awareness and spread the message about Variety is what it's all about.

What a day!!! Lake Argyle has been such a highlight. A boat trip out on the lake, a swim in the middle with a cold beverage and tunes amongst bashers. Topped off with an air-con room and a shower.
