Jabalbina Yalanji Aboriginal Corporation

Jabalbina Yalanji Aboriginal Corporation Jabalbina is the RNTBC, PBC and Cultural Heritage Body for the Eastern Kuku Yalanji People

In June 2007, Elders and Traditional Owners determined that Jabalbina would be the 'one-stop-shop' organisation for the Eastern Kuku Yalanjiwarra. Elders named the organisation, 'Jabalbina', which means 'home of the ancestors'. The vision that the Eastern Kuku Yalanjiwarra hold for the organisation is to be caring custodians of bubu (land) and jalun (sea) so Bama-Bama benefit culturally, economica

lly, academically and socially, while enhancing Eastern Kuku Yalanji tribal lore and cultural values.
