Moss Vale and Rural Chamber of Commerce and the Wingecarribee Shire Council are excited to announce
the Moss Vale Buskers’ Battle is on again and applications are being taken now. In 2017 the Battle expands to two days, there’s a new People’s Choice Award as well as the Judged Awards and the prize pool’s grown too! They recognise the Buskers Battle not only as a wonderful opportunity to bring community together and provide a platform for seasoned and emerging street performers from all over Australia, but to introduce newcomers to the wonders of the Southern Highlands as well. Southern Highlands Food and Wine Association is also a major supporter of the event, and its members will showcase the very best gourmet food, wine and produce from the region on Battle day. The event will be staged on Saturday March 11 and Sunday March 12, 2017 with the Moss Vale commercial precinct coming alive with buskers on Saturday, and from 10am to 4pm on Sunday, Leighton Gardens will provide the setting for an entertainment extravaganza.
