CWA Morwell Evening Branch We meet twice a month with a social gathering on the 2nd Tuesday of the month and a meeting on the 4th Tuesday of the month.

Most times will be 6.30pm at the Rose Garden Room, Maryvale Cres, Morwell, but may vary.

What a fabulous night of learning, creating and of course eating!
Our group got hands-on and learnt the fundamentals of making fresh pasta and delicious sauce from scratch.
The end result was a delicious reward for our efforts! šŸ˜‹
A huge thank you to Lucy for a fabulous night, sharing your knowledge and making it such a fun experience for everyone.
We were also thrilled to welcome three Federation University students, who joined us as part of their studies to learn more about our community group and what we do.
Great food, great company and plenty of laughs, it really was another great social night.
Next month we reveal our 2026 Footy Tipster of the year! šŸ‘‘

We are proud to be partnering with Latrobe City Council to support Morwell & Churchill kindergarten children through our Little Lunches initiative.
This is our first month, of preparing around 200 cheese sandwiches with care and kindness for children who may arrive at kinder without a lunch.
This simple act of kindness helps ensure every child has something warm, nourishing and made just for them.
Together, we can make a difference ā€” one toastie at a time

What a fantastic night we had at our Cake Decorating ā€œNailed Itā€ Challenge using the iconic Womenā€™s Weekly Childrenā€™s Birthday Cake Book! šŸ˜„

From ambitious masterpieces to wonderfully wonky creations, everyone gave it a goā€”and the results were absolutely brilliant. There were plenty of laughs, a lot of creativity, and maybe a few cakes that didnā€™t quite go to planā€¦ but that just made it even more fun!

With school heading back on Monday today the wonderful CWA Morwell Evening Branch teamed up with Morwell Rotary Club to give back to our local community.
Together, we made plenty of cheese sandwiches under the ā€œEat Upā€œ banner helping ensure local school students that donā€™t have lunch can now have a warm cheese toastie.
A great effort, a lovely example of community spirit in action. Wishing all the students a fantastic return to school!
