Today our President was invited to celebrate with Australian-Filipino Community Services an "Everybody dance" event in conjunction with Positive Ageing Festival 2026 where we were reminded to keep active for the brain health. At last night's GECC Annual General Meeting, IWG's president was awarded with a certificate of appreciation and a trophy for her contribution in her role as the festival and events coordinator within the committee. We at Iwg was super excited spending our friday preparing & cooking 132 containers of chicken & vegetarian vermicelli stir fry noodles at Morwell Neighbourhood House for their people's kitchen project. Thank you Bec for giving us the opportunity to serve our community as we tick our vision to collaborate and support one community group at a time. Thank you my "master chef" Anne, Helmi and Christina who came along and cook up a storm
