🌟 Today is International Youth Day! We are celebrating the incredible young people creating positive change in our communities and beyond.

Here in the Latrobe Valley, our Live4Life Crew are leading the way, championing mental health awareness and sharing their 2026 advocacy theme: "Emotions unite us, but they don't define us." 💚

A powerful reminder that while emotions connect us all, they are only one part of who we are.

Connection starts with a simple Hello. It grows through friendships, family, volunteering, community involvement, and simple everyday interactions. How will you make room for connection today?

This Loneliness Awareness Week we’re celebrating the connectors in our community. They’re the people and community organisations who make everyone feel welcome, included and seen. Thank you for making room!

Year 8 students at St Paul's Anglican Grammar School kicked off Youth Live4Life 2026, celebrating mental health, connection and wellbeing alongside their amazing Live4Life Crew.

The event opened with a special welcome video introducing this year’s Latrobe Valley theme: “Emotions unite us, they don’t define us.”

Created by the Crew earlier this year, the theme and poster set the tone for a day centered on connection, support and looking out for one another.

Latrobe Health Assembly is proud to support the rollout of Live4Life across the Latrobe Valley as we continue empowering young people to thrive. 💚💛🖤

Big thank-you to Traralgon Rotary who recently made a generous $2,000 donation to Latrobe Valley Live4Life Program.

These funds will help support the delivery of Youth Mental Health First Aid training to year 8 and year 10 secondary school students across the Latrobe Valley.

"Projects such as Live4Life are so important to our region and provide vital assistance for schools and young people navigating an increasingly complex society." Principal, Latrobe Valley

The Latrobe Health Assembly is now registered as a not-for-profit health promotion charity, endorsed as a Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR).

This week, we opened the doors of our new office at 29 Church Street Morwell, welcoming community members and partners into our space.

It was a great day of connection, with meaningful conversations flowing throughout the day. We also shared an update on the progress the Assembly has been making behind the scenes as a not‑for‑profit health promotion charity, and we’re pleased to officially launch our 2026–2029 Strategic Plan, outlining our shared priorities for the next three years.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and continues to support community‑led health and wellbeing initiatives across Latrobe 🤍
