Lifeline Gippsland

Lifeline Gippsland Our mission is to support people in crisis, so that no one has to face their darkest moment alone

Every day Lifeline Gippsland makes a difference to people’s lives through a broad range of programs and services that deliver information and crisis support to the most vulnerable members of our community. At the heart of our services is the Lifeline 24-hour crisis support line which provides people with support for a range of issues including depression and other mental illness, substance abuse, domestic violence and more.

For our shop volunteers, every shift has meaning.

Knowing people whose lives have been touched by su***de is a powerful reminder of why Lifeline Gippsland’s work is so important. Every hour volunteered and every purchase made in our shops helps support vital su***de-prevention services in our community.

Lifeline Gippsland must raise 90% of the funding needed to continue our vital local work.

That funding comes from our shops, donations, fundraising and the generosity of the Gippsland community.

With every crisis call costing $39 to answer, every purchase, donation and act of support helps ensure someone is there when the phone rings.

Who will you walk with?

Gather your friends, family, workmates, sporting club, community group or neighbours and take on the Out of the Shadows Walk together.

You don't need to be a seasoned walker. You just need a willingness to show up, connect and support your community.

Walk at one of our regional events or create your own local walk and make it your own.

Because every conversation, every connection and every step matters.

A corporate volunteering day might feel like one day out of the office.

For Lifeline Gippsland, it can mean more stock processed, more funds raised and more crisis calls answered.

The team at Loy Yang B Power Station has shown what genuine corporate partnership can look like: local people using their time and skills to strengthen the community they live and work in. And the impact goes far beyond physical labour. Their support removes pressure from our team, builds our capacity and allows us to focus on the work that matters most.

Lifeline Gippsland must raise 90% of the funding needed to keep our local crisis support centre operating. We’re looking for more businesses willing to stand beside us through volunteering, funding, resources or long-term partnership.

If your organisation wants to create meaningful impact right here in Gippsland, we’d love to start a conversation.
Because supporting Lifeline Gippsland means helping ensure someone is there to answer when a local person needs it most.

Send us a message to discuss becoming a corporate partner.
