There's plenty to see and do in Morven, so be sure to stop and explore. You'll discover the unique attractions and stories that have earned this small outback town its place on the map.

Take a stroll along the main street to visit the Historical Museum, the Vietnam Nurses Memorial, and learn about the Kerosene Tin Hut, along with other local points of interest.

The Morven Visitor Information Centre is open from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm, Monday to Friday, during the tourist season. Don't forget to stop in and support our local businesses, from the Morven Post Office to the Sadleir's Waterhole and everything in between.

Just 1.2 km from town, Gidgee's Bush Camp offers a relaxing farm stay experience. Park your caravan and enjoy birdwatching, hot tubs, unique steel garden art, and open spaces for stargazing.
If you're only passing through, day passes are also available.

Located South-West of Morven, Tregole National Park is home to the Ooline Tree. A designated walking track provides an opportunity to explore this National Park.

The flooring fairies have been hard at work again tonight with over half of the new flooring laid. Unfortunately, the Memorial will be closed tomorrow (Thursday) to allow it to dry completely and to have it finished. Fingers crossed it will reopen on Friday morning.

An amazing initiative from Fun Over 50 Holidays is bringing visitors through South West Queensland, helping support local cafés, attractions, tours, accommodation and small businesses along the way.

The "Backing the Outback" campaign delivers real support, with hosted coach journeys introduced as a practical way to inject immediate economic activity into the region. With multiple departures already sold out, the campaign shines a spotlight on regional communities including Roma, Quilpie, Eromanga, Thargomindah, Cunnamulla, St George and our very own Charleville.

Fun Over 50 Holidays will be donating the use of their Gold Class coach, along with a driver and host,
