PRIDE IN THE PARK Artist Spotlight:
⭐️ DJINAMA YILAGA ⭐️

We are beyond excited to have performing live at PRIDE IN THE PARK on Sunday 7 June at Moruya Riverside Park sharing beautiful songs in language 🌈

‘We’re an intergenerational choir from the Far South Coast of NSW, with singers aged 11 to 65, united by a passion for song, culture, and connection to Country. Together, we’ve created something truly special — sharing stories and language of the Yuin people through original music in Dhurga.

At the heart of our choir is a driving passion to reclaim language. Only a generation ago speaking Dhurga language was a punishable offence. Under government policies, teaching the Dhurga language to our children could result in them being taken away from our families.

We invite you to walk with us, hear our stories and support us to breathe life into the Dhurga language.’

Don’t miss out on this great event celebrating LGBTQIA+ community. Remember, everyone is welcome to our events — you don’t have to be q***r — you just gotta show up with respect and love and support for q***r community and we’ll be ready to celebrate you right back!

📢 ALEXANDER MCKWEEN 📢

We are thrilled to have performing at our PRIDE IN THE PARK celebration this coming Sunday, 7 June at Moruya Riverside Park.

Alexander McKween (he/him) is THE technicolour dreamboat of the Begay Valley. His drag challenges and blurs the lines of the gender binary to bring you a gorgeous fuzz framed mug that only 8 years of synthetic hormones could grow (because if you can’t brew your own T, store bought is fine!).

Originally hailing from the Naarm/Melbourne drag scene before relocating back to his beautiful home town of Merimbula, McKween can’t wait to slip slop slap and party in the park with you all!

We have officially kicked off! Today we had a sweet afternoon at Moruya Bowlo as part of Sporty Queers’ debut sports pick-up event, Barefoot Lawn Bowls. I discovered lawn bowls isn’t my thing, but hanging out with a bunch of regional q***rs certainly is. Thanks to everyone who came along, Kathleen for organising and we can’t wait to see you at the next event.

Rainbow yoga kicks off this coming Tuesday — 4pm every Tuesday with me at
A mellow practice to get the body stretched out after bowls, and in time for a big weekend of activities (including our major community event PRIDE IN THE PARK).

Lotsa love, Hank — and happy pride 🌈

⭐️ LITTLE GIRL LIKES HER BRAIN ⭐️

We are chuffed to have performing live at PRIDE IN THE PARK on Sunday 7 June at Moruya Riverside Park bringing their femme-powered punk to Eurobodalla Shire’s biggest Pride celebration 🌈

📢 D***S ON BICYCLES & CO. 📢

We are so excited to have the highly anticipated and very local D***s on Bicycles & Co. return to Queerobodalla’s free, all ages Pride event on Sunday, 7 June.

In 2024, the D***s on Bicycles & Co. crew kicked off the launch day with a lot of colour and noise and put a lot of smiles on faces and we are stoked that they’ll be kicking off festivities on Sunday, 7 June at Moruya Riverside Park.

PRIDE IN THE PARK Artist Spotlight:
⭐️ LILITH ⭐️

From Bega to the big stage, Lilith are the new face of Australian metal and we are excited to have performing live at PRIDE IN THE PARK on Sunday 7 June at Moruya Riverside Park bringing the noise to Eurobodalla Shire’s biggest Pride celebration 🌈

Lilith are a heavy metal band from Bega, NSW, forging brutal soundscapes that channel teenage rage and raw emotion. Formed in 2024 by lifelong friends Fern Cross (vocals), Lincoln Dack (guitar), and Matilda Dack (bass), and later joined by drummer Toby Norton, the band grew from DIY beginnings into one of the South Coast’s loudest and most unapologetic voices. With influences from 90’s nu-metal and deathcore to modern icons like Parkway Drive, Spiritbox, and Bring Me The Horizon, Lilith deliver neck-snapping breakdowns, an explosive performance and the guttural screams from their powerhouse yet unassuming front woman defy expectations. With their debut single SINK out now and a bunch of stellar gigs under their belt, Lilith are here to prove that heavy music has a home in the valley.

PRIDE IN THE PARK Artist Spotlight:
⭐️ TAMLYN MAGEE ⭐️

We are chuffed to have performing live at PRIDE IN THE PARK on Sunday 7 June at Moruya Riverside Park bringing all the Ani DiFranco classics to the Eurobodalla Shire’s biggest Pride celebration 🌈

One of the South Coast’s finest talents, Tamlyn Magee returns to the stage bringing an exclusive Ani DiFranco setlist to our Pride celebrations 🌈

‘Thank you Queerobodalla, Pride in the Park, for having me! This is a bit of a musical comeback/rebirth for me, after Anactoria. I am a pansexual eco-feminist who came of age obsessed with Ani DiFranco and her q***r, political and deeply personal songs. The chance to play the music I was brought up on, to such a generous, creative and open-hearted south coast audience, is an honour I won’t forget. See you on the 7th June!!’
