Art Central is the volunteer run headquarters of the Arts Council of the Eurobodalla. For more information give us a call or pop in for a chat and a cuppa.

Art Central runs art classes and work shops and is also a meeting place for community.

What a fabulous opening night for the Possum Prizes!
Thank you to our wonderful community for coming out to support local artists.
Congratulations to the prize winners and all the entrants.
The show is open daily from 10 to 4 until 12 June at the Mechanics Institute Moruya. Lots of great art and plenty for sale.

**Today 2 local Indigenous artists have a collection of work for cash sales.

Home is where our stories gather. This informal exhibition brings together drawings by students from Art Central Moruya’s Term 3 Drawing Explorations class, guided by tutor Victoria Westwood. Working from familiar objects the artists explore light, texture, to ask what makes a home.

You’re invited to enjoy the work, chat with the artists, and celebrate the pleasure of drawing for its own sake. If you’re interested in purchasing a piece, please speak directly with the artist

The spirit behind this show is simple: art made close to life, for the joy of it.

Thank you for visiting and the shout out!

Repost • We visited the wonderful team at Art Central in Moruya last week, and left feeling really energised by our time with them.

It was a great chance to dive deeper into their history, hear more about the vital role they play in Moruya’s arts ecology, and explore ways we can work more closely together. We had a fantastic brainstorming session around future partnership opportunities and how South East Arts can support their upcoming programs.

Art Central is a much-loved community arts hub in the Eurobodalla, creating connection, confidence and healing through creativity. They’re always running fantastic workshops and activities- go check them out 👉 .
