This is a driving role with real purpose. Providing essentialtransport for older people and people with disability, helping them attend appointments, complete essential activities and stay independent and connected with their community.

What a truly glorious day aboard The Riverboat Postman, taking in the Hawkesbury River scenery as the boat delivered mail to riverside communities.

We LOVED seeing Cirque Alice at Sydney Lyric Theatre. A spectacular circus twist on Alice in Wonderland, filled with breathtaking acrobatics, colourful characters and whimsical surprises.

💛 Today marks the start of National Carers Week | 11–17 October

This year’s theme, “Care for a carer: Making carers visible”, encourages us to recognise and support the millions of Australians who provide unpaid care to a family member or friend.

At St George Community, we see the difference these individuals make every day. Pictured are just some of our wonderful staff and volunteer carers. We thank our whole caring team for the kindness, patience and support you bring to our friends. 💛

We also recognise the unpaid carers in our community, including members of our team who care for loved ones at home. You deserve to feel seen, valued and supported.

This week, take a moment to check in with a carer you know. A little care for them can mean a lot.

Join St George Community for A Beautiful Noise: The Neil Diamond Musical this December! We’re giving you an early heads-up so you can secure your tickets now.

📅 Thursday 3 December 2026
📍 Sydney Lyric Theatre
🎭 1pm matinee, finishing around 4pm
🎟️ Tickets: $110 per person
🚌 Bus: $20 per person

We’ll enjoy lunch beforehand, then settle in for an afternoon celebrating Neil Diamond’s music. ✨

Fresh air, plane spotting and plenty of smiles! ✈️🚶‍♀️

We enjoyed a scenic walk along Alexandra Canal and the Cooks River, stopping at the airport viewing area to watch the planes come and go.

Everyone set off so enthusiastically that carer Pam had to remind them to save some energy for the walk back! 😄
