South East Brisbane Chamber of Commerce (SEBCC)

The SEBCC is a not-for-profit organisation. The SEBCC has an Executive Committee, Sub Committee, a Secretariat and Members. The SEBCC is made up of business owners and representatives from numerous industry types and sizes in South East Brisbane. Members use the Chamber to help network, stay up to date on local issues and learn business skills from each other. Educational opportunities are also provided through seminars, workshops and from guest speakers. Informal mentoring by experience SEBCC members is a known benefit for new members who are starting a new business. Representing the Business Community to Government: As a group the SEBCC lobbies Local and State Government on issues affecting members. Several State and Federal parliamentarians from the South East Brisbane area are also members of the Chamber. SEBCC helps support members in taking up issues impacting their business with Government. Regular Networking Opportunities: Breakfast meetings are held monthly to ensure regular opportunities for business owners and representatives to meet, network and learn. Other events include networking drinks and family BBQs.
