Wonderful outcome from people power and persistance Congratulations

Thanks to your help, we did it!

We've reached the target for the Wirey Swamp Restoration Reserve Stage 2 land purchase.

Thank you to all who donated to help us first secure and now double the size the Wirey Swamp Restoration Reserve! Now we can fully shift our focus to planning and then implementing restoration activities at the expanded reserve over the next four years, with the support of The Ian Potter Foundation.

And a special thanks to donors who contributed funds enabling public donation matching, Adrian Heard and Meredith Reardon via the Casuarina Conservancy Fund, as well as New Forests and Timberlands Pacific.

Good things in the pipeline for Friends of Lake Modewarre in 2026:
We were successful with a grant from SurfCoast Shire for Natural Environment grant 2025 and have funding for w**d management at the Lake Modewarre site.
