We had all been hoping for some rain, but unfortunately it has meant our fields are too wet to play on tomorrow so we have made the decision in conjunction with Council to cancel Saturday 30th May Games.

A reminder to our local sporting groups and families 💙🍕

For almost 10 years, Domino’s Moree has proudly supported local sporting groups, schools, and community organisations by donating free pizza vouchers and sponsorships back into our community.

These vouchers have ALWAYS been redeemed ONLINE ONLY.This is not a new process, and it has been the same for the entire time we have offered them.

Recently, our staff have been yelled at, abused, and spoken to poorly in store by customers unhappy about needing to redeem their voucher online.

This behaviour is completely unacceptable.

Our team members are simply following the conditions attached to the vouchers provided. They do not make the rules and should never be treated disrespectfully for doing their job.

It is also important to understand that these sponsorships and donated vouchers are not funded by Domino’s corporate. They are funded directly by the local franchisee — out of my own pocket — to help support our local community.

We genuinely love being able to give back and support local groups, however if staff continue to be abused over these vouchers, future sponsorships and donations may need to be reconsidered.

Please remember — kindness costs nothing, and our staff deserve to feel safe and respected at work.

For any players or teams wishing to compete in the GUNNEDAH GALA DAY on 31st May, please feel free to register yourselves. You will need to manage the team and players as no one from the committee are able to attend the Gunnedah Gala Day, but MJSC will cover the team's cost if you do wish to attend.

📣 REGISTRATIONS ARE OPEN FOR GDSA MIXED JUNIOR GALA DAY 🙌🫶
📍Sunday 31st May 2026 - first games are proposed to start at 9am with last games finished by 3pm for presentation at 3.10pm. Times subject to change pending final registration numbers and will be confirmed when fixtures are finalised.
⚽️ Age groups:
5/6s & 7s: 6 players (4 on field with 2 subs)
$60/team
8s, 9s, 10s, 11s, 12s, 13s, 14s, 15/16s: 8 players (6 on the field with 2 subs) $80/team

I'm sure everyone is looking forward to kicking off the 2026 Season as much as we are tomorrow!! A few things to note;

1. There will be no canteen or food available due to renovations, but coffee will be on as usual.
2. Shorts and shin pads are available for purchase if needed. We will have a table at the container between 8/9's and 6/7's.
a. Shorts $20
b. Shin Pads $25
**PLEASE BRING CASH IF POSSIBLE**
3. Temporary toilets will be available
4. We re using SQUADI this year, so if you need help with it, please either speak to a team mgr or a committee member, but please download the app if you have not already.
5. We will have paper scorecards for week 1 and 2 while everyone gets used to SQAUDI as well as the match awards
6. HOME TEAM is on setup and AWAY TEAM is on pack up - all age groups. Remember more hands make light work

Start times as follows;

MiniRoos 9am Please come to the container and grab a jersey and socks
6/7 Yrs 10am
8/9 Yrs 9am
10/11 Yrs 10am
12-16 Yrs 9am

We know there will be a few speed bumps tomorrow as there always is, but the committee has worked extremely hard to make it as seamless as possible for you and the children, but please reach out if you have any concerns.
