We had an enjoyable meeting last night. It was run as a workshop to introduce new members to the skills of public speaking. We have been fortunate to have a good number of new members but have lost a few of our experienced members. The result is more new members than experienced members. Participation was key to the success of the meeting. Everyone had a chance to participate.
We love to welcome guests and look forward to welcoming some more new members.
We start at 6pm with coffee and chat before the meeting starts at 6.30.

Caboolture Toastmasters upcoming meeting on Tuesday, April 14th, will be an educational or workshop meeting where members and guests will learn about the different aspects of public speaking, such as impromptu speaking, voice variation, body language, speech structure and evaluations, allowing members and guests the opportunity to participate and put this into practise. Join us and take advantage of this unique opportunity by giving us a visit. We start at 6:30pm at the Grant Road Sports and Community Complex, hope to see you there!

Our new times were well received with a heart-warming chance to catch up informally, with some light refreshments and easy banter.

Kylie and Chris were our Toastmasters for the evening. Luke got our vocal chords warmed up with a light-hearted warm-up session. Sharon delivered some great questions for her first Table Topics session. Barbara delivered a wonderfully informative speech about Mary Reibey who graces out $20 note.

As part of our refreshed Agenda, we will be running a short Educational session immediately after our half-time break. This week Barb gave an introduction to Pathways - how to choose a path.
