International World Animal Day is a day of action for animal welfare. The 2026 theme is SEE THE WORLD THROUGH THEIR EYES. Please consider a donation to our own amazing animals at Moorook and donate to our $5 " Furaiser "
Take a moment and see the world through their eyes. A new home? At Moorook, they are safe , cared for, and loved by Lola. A dream to have a family of their own is something you can see in their eyes.$5 will make such a difference.

Pictured is Red Dog. He is a 3yr old male kelpie. He is super smart and will return to his enclosure with just a voice command. He is still learning being on lead but with his smarts it wont take him long. He doesnt seem too fussed either around the shelter cats and gets along well with other dogs.

Today is Rainbow Bridge Day 🌈 Today, we pause and we reflect on all our beautiful fur babies that have crossed that bridge. Pictured is Patty who was adopted from Moorook when she was just over a year old. She went across the bridge at almost 17! She was the best girl, often attending events and getting as much love from everyone that she could. She loved the beach and her family. She is sorely missed. Please feel free to share your fur babies stories in the comments ❤️

HAPPY INTERNATIONAL DOG DAY!
Give your pups an extra special hug today, take a moment to remember those you might have lost over the rainbow bridge - and spare a moment to think about all the dogs in shelters like these fellows, who are desperately waiting for a bed of their own. ❤️‍🩹

Today is International Black Cat Day! Sadly, black cats wait longer than others to be adopted due to old superstitions. But why wouldn't you want your own mini house panther? If you don't have one, please give us a call and I'm sure we could hook you up 😉
