đź’ś April is Adenomyosis Awareness Month đź’ś

So many people live with adenomyosis in silence, often undiagnosed, unheard, or dismissed. This month, we shine a light on their stories, their strength, and the need for better awareness and support.

🟣 Join the movement:
Post something purple, share your journey, or uplift someone who needs to feel seen. Every share helps break the stigma and brings us one step closer to understanding and change.

Let’s fill the feed with purple and make adenomyosis impossible to ignore. 💜
Share. Tag. Raise awareness.

Alyra Biotech is company that has developed a new intrauterine device that is better for pain than the currently available Mirena Device.

We are particularly interested in women with adenomyosis, who are so often neglected.

Participants are paid an honorarium of $1200, receive a high quality endo scan, have expert gynaes inserting devices, lots of support, green whistles to reduce the pain of device insertion and the option of having a normal mirena inserted (if they choose to) at the end of the 6 month trial. It is a good opportunity for people who are considering a Mirena but concerned about lack of support or pain with insertion.

The Principal Investigator of the trial is Professor Louise Hull who is well known for her extensive work in improving the quality of ultrasound scans in people with endo/adeno.
