📣We have some exciting news 📣
Moora Lion's Club have collaborated with Gardiner Street Arts Collective - We have got our book exchange up and going in the Harmony Room of the GASC.
This is available to anyone who would like books if you can leave a small donation in the tin that would be greatly appreciated - books will be swapped out regularly. 📖

▪️Gardiner Arts Street Collective are open to the public on, Thursdays and Fridays and Saturdays all pending if we have volunteers.

Hello...., we have a very special event comming up,
"escarpade" what's that I hear you say?
Have you ever heard of Camp Quality? It raises money for kids with Cancer and educates others about kids living with cancer.
For many families this is something that helps them out in time of need, and connects family's in similar situations and from doing a car rally from Carnamah around parts of the Central Wheatbelt with funky fabulous cars💛

Now what are the Moora Lions doing?

We are on FRIDAY 16TH AUGUST
Hosting a private dinner for the Escarpade, starting at Carnamah and working there way through Moora on the Friday for a stay over night before going to the next town.
They will be showcasing their cars at the Town hall (Mpac) Carpark from 2pm until dark.

We have been given the opportunity to draw locals in and help them raise funds in each town, and from Moora we would love to show them a huge support. So we thought let's host a market & car rally afternoon - early evening?

So we will have some stalls on one side - with the cars on the other and both together will draw interest from locals!

So each stall will be $10 which we will donate direct to camp quality.
We also would like to host a raffle, if anyone would like to donate a little prize we also would donate all funds directly to Camp Quality.
If you would like a stall please register interest below so we can start coordinating this event🫶

Meet JENNY,
You will see Jenny here, there & everywhere, all over Moora, when she isn't selling raffle tickets at her spot at Moora Newsagency, or on the gate Moora Speedway,
she is always lending a hand with other community clubs,
Jenny is an active member of the Black Carnaby Cockatoos
Hospital Auxiliary, Red hatters, Moora Lion's Club and so much more,
When she isn't exausted from socialising and lending a hand within her community, Jenny loves to sing & play ukulele, coffee with her friends and spend time with her beloved birds, and being social at the lifestyle village.
👑Jenny is our Queen of selling Christmas cakes, from storing them at her place to all the organization she sells record amounts each year!! (These can be bought all year round)
Jenny is also our fines lady at each meeting she finds new and innotive ways to fine each member, in great humour and make a $ or 2 which goes towards communityprojects..
Jenny loves selling raffles before and on market day, she always has a smile and is always up for having a good giggle!
Jenny has been a member for 10+ years with Moora Lions and her, she most definitely serves our community and isn't giving up anytime soon.
Jenny moved to Moora 16 years ago, originally from Canarvon where she raised her beautiful family of 4 children and her dearly departed husband, who was an aviation pilot for many years, they lived a full and happy life together, she just wished they had more time together, she absolutely loved her life in Canarvon💗
Jenny is a devoted mum, grandmother & great grandmother to all, even little adopted children over town who also adore her.
Over the years, Jenny took part in many sports, she was a very good tennis player, 🎾
Jenny is not only a very kind, and beautiful lady she is magnetic and loves a good chat, next time you see her out and about, stop and say Hi👋
