Moora parkrun Moora parkrun is a free, timed, 5km run / walk put on by the community for the community at 8am every Saturday morning in Moora, WA.

parkrun is not a race against other runners, but a 5km timed run, jog or walk. It can really be whatever you want it to be, whether that's for fun or as part of a training plan. Moora parkrun offers an opportunity for all members of our local community, male or female, young or old, to come together on a regular basis to get physically active - We want to encourage people to walk, jog or run together irrespective of their ability – this event is truly open to all and best of all it really is FREE! Taking part is easy – just register in advance to get your one off barcode, set your alarm for Saturday morning (remember to take the barcode!!) and get yourself there for an 8 am start!!

Whether you’re chasing a personal best, taking on your very first triathlon, or just keen for a laugh and a challenge with your mates, this one’s for you!

💪 Swim it. Ride it. Run it.

🏁 Cross that finish line beneath Moora’s famous feathered giants!

😂 And don’t worry, the cockatoos won’t judge your finishing time!

So round up your mates, dust off the bike, find those running shoes and start training!

We are on the lookout for some extraordinary volunteers to join our Parkrun crew!
You DO NOT need to be able to run or even walk!
We have plenty of roles including timing, token scanning, course checker, magpie feeding officer, photographer, first timers welcome and bridge marshal.

You will be provided with support to get your head around the roles and you will be rewarded by praise every week and parkrun milestone points!

We love to include those who just love being with other people regardless of your ability or fitness level.

And you will leave happier and healthier just by getting out in the fresh air!

Please comment or send us a PM if you are interested. No pressure at all, we are a very chilled and friendly bunch!
