The Birds of Prey Patrol swooped victory from the Menacing Marsupials in tonight’s Scavenger Challenge by a mere 20points!

We hope the victors enjoy the spoils of victory, a McDonalds Voucher each & the ever so important, BRAGGING RIGHTS!

It takes a village and we are so fortunate to have a wonderful relationship with the Copper Coast Resident & Ratepayers Association,

Today we joined as they planted 11 Tuckeroo Trees and 10 Grevilleas, at the Moonta RV Park that they proudly manage, we followed this with a bbq, the RatePayers bringing the supplies that our talented youth cooked up.

Love when we get out with the community and if you are staying at the RV Park don’t forget to leave a donation, the funds go back into the community and for improvement projects like this

Everyone you see at Moonta Scout Group is a volunteer with the goal of giving our youth the most amazing opportunity to grow and develop in a supportive and inclusive environment.

More than 1,600 dedicated volunteers (including our Life Members) generously donate their time to volunteer with Scouts SA, helping to shape and empower local youth members to achieve the incredible.

Each Scouts SA volunteer is vital. Without them, our organisation would not be able to exist. For that, we are incredibly thankful.

Buzzing into World Bee Day 🐝🌼

Bees are vital for our environment because they pollinate many of the plants we rely on for food and healthy ecosystems - about one-third of the food we eat depends on them. Without bees, biodiversity and food production would be at serious risk.

Scouts are working to protect these important pollinators and support the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through simple actions like planting native flowers, avoiding pesticides, and creating safe habitats.

Every small action helps protect bees - and our planet.
