Our Lions Street Library is stocked with books! Thank you to our wonderful community who have been leaving books for the children to enjoy! We have quite a variety from board books for infants and toddlers to chapter books for independent readers to picture books and beginning to read stories. Enjoy a book at the park or take one home with you! After you've read it, you can keep it or return it to the little library and choose another one.

Our Moonta Lions Street Library for children has arrived! We are so excited to provide this for our local children and families. Located near the bbq shed and beside a bench, just a perfect spot to enjoy a book with your child. We will be adding books later next week. Artwork was designed by the R-2 classes with help from teachers Linda Hetner and Elyse Atkinson at Moonta Area School and painted by local artist Steve Hudson using the childrens' design ideas. With special thanks to the men at the Moonta Community Shed for constructing the library building. This library will be specifically for children aged from pre-school to year 6.
