Thank you to all involved in bringing the very successful Molong Village Markets together yesterday. A snapshot of those involved:
Markets Coordinator Pauline Painter for the hundreds of hours working with stallholders booking and arranging sites,
Treasurer Sue Wild managing the money and working tirelessly to ensure the smooth running on the day,
Secretary Lisa Cobb for communicating behind the scenes and working with Ross Beatty to bring the Canobolas Lions Club team to supply the BBQ,
Janine Marriott for getting the word out in the MagRag,
Mark Goidchild for helping to set up signs on the entrances to Molong,
Tony Painter and Ralph Chrystall for helping with setting up gazebos on Sunday, placing stallholders on their sites and traffic control on Monday.
Rob and Ros Batten( from Dubbo) and Aaron Pearson for directing traffic and managing parking,
Bill Marriott for marking out sites on Sunday before the markets and supplying chairs for people to sit on under the shade of the trees,
Molong Central School senior students under the supervision of Year Advisor, Alicia Chisholm,
Molong Historical Society and Molong Museum, the Womenโs Wellness Weekend team and Molong Hospital Auxiliary for staffing gates,
Mandy Staines from Cabonne Council and Dave Caldwell for sorting out the electrical problems detected late on Sunday and on Monday morning,
Cabonne Council staff for setting up signs including the VMS boards, preparing the Rec for the day and being involved in removing the rubbish from overflowing bins; and
Stallholders for the tremendous range of products available for people to enjoy.
