CTHCC at Bathurst's 'Gold Country' Rally!

The club was well represented with Chris & Dave, Keith & Nancy, Robert and the two Bathurst locals Stuart and Josephine. There was an excellent range of cars from Pre '30s through to 1980s classics.

No 'people's choice' car prizes but one of our ladies did get 'best dressed Lady' in her 1920s get up!

WELL - WHAT A WONDERFULL WEEKEND.
One of the most stunning 'roundups' of pre 1931 vehicles that the eastern states could put together. Over 100 vehicles, all over 95 years old, many 100 years old or more. Some pushing 120 years. Those of Blayney and Molong no doubt enjoyed their visits. Most certainly the entrants enjoyed Huntley Berry Farm, being hosted by Blayney High School, the model aeroplane display at the Orange Model aircraft club, and lunch in Molong. This then capped off at a wonderful formal dinner held at the Bathurst RSL club. Congratulations to the weekends winners!. BEST VETERAN VEHICLE (pre 1919) Chris Hogan and his 1916 Overland. BEST VINTAGE VEHICLE (1920 to 1930) David Dobbs and his 1927 Dodge. THE 'PEOPLES CHOICE' award went to John Lee and his 1929 Packard Roadster. To end the evening the Central Tablelands Historic Car Club handed the 'Pre 31 Tour' batton over to the STANTHORPE HISTORIC CAR AND MACHINERY GROUP who will host the tour in Stanthorpe (April 27th to 3rd May) 2027,

Club members Visiting Cherrywood Grove Nursing home recently.

Their visit enjoyed by many residents who no doubt enjoyed 'reminising' as to the vehicles of their parents and the 'days gone by'.

Members getting out and about.

Held last weekend at Ballarat the Australuan Oldsmobile club held its 17th National Meet (and celebrated its 50th anniversary).

Central Tablelands was represented with a members 1926 Tourer.

It was fabulous to see cars (and most models) from 1903 to the late 1970s. (Oldsmobiles were in production right through to 2004).
