Mollymook Beach, Ulladulla, Nowra Ladies, and Nowra South Probus Clubs: Lightning Ridge Adventure Update - Sheepyard and Community War Memorial.
Although our visit did not coincide with Anzac Day, our time at the memorial provided an opportunity to honor the sacrifices made by others during times of conflict.

Mollymook Beach, Ulladulla, Nowra Ladies, and Nowra South Probus Clubs: Lightning Ridge Adventure Update - Farewell to Lightning Ridge
We had an incredible three days filled with warm hospitality, great food, and insightful experiences into the world of opal mining. A big thank you to the following individuals and organisation’s for making this adventure possible:

John Bevan from Bevans Cactus Gardens, our local tour guide
Chambers of the Black Hand
The Lightning Ridge Bowling Club
Opal Mine Adventure/Walk-in Mine
The Club in the Scrub
And the biggest surprise of all, the Opal Miners Hall of Fame – truly breathtaking and a must-see during your visit.

A special shoutout to Glenn from Coach Holidays and Tours for ensuring our travels were seamless.

The weather was less than ideal during our recent Shoalhaven River Cruise, which took us to Crookhaven Heads, Shoalhaven Heads, and Broughton Creek from Greenwell Point. These ladies appear to be having a great time—perhaps they’re just aware they can retreat indoors after the photo!

Afterward, we enjoyed afternoon tea at the Pelican Rocks Café, where it was much drier and warmer.

Despite the weather conditions, everyone had a wonderful time.

This month, our Dining Group enjoyed an outing to experience the Indian cuisine at Baa Baa's restaurant in Milton.
