Mollymook Beach Probus Club

We are a community social club in the Mollymook and Ulladulla district for retired or semi retired men and women.

Our diverse membership comes from all walks of life. The purpose of our club is to provide regular gatherings of people who appreciate and value opportunities to stay active and meet others who have similar interests or to learn and enjoy new interests

We pride ourselves on being friendly and welcoming and believe that our broad range of activities caters for all tastes

Our monthly meetings are

held on the fourth Friday of every month at the Milton Ulladulla Baptist Church, 215 Matron Porter Dr, Narrawallee NSW, opening at 9am for a 9.30am start.

It is with deep sadness that we farewell our long-time Probus member, Geoff Muir, who passed away recently.

Club members came together with family and friends at a service celebrating his life. Geoff joined our club 21 years ago, and alongside his wife, Sue, remained a remarkably dedicated and active member. He was widely known for his wonderful appetite and love of good food.

Geoff was also a passionate sports enthusiast, particularly when it came to golf, where rumor had it he played a rather impressive game.

Heartfelt thoughts and deepest condolences are extended to the family and friends during this difficult time. While the club will greatly miss a warm and friendly face, the memories shared over the past two decades will remain.

Members of the Mollymook Beach Probus Club joined members of the Ulladulla and District Probus Club, Shoalhaven Ladies Probus Club, and Nowra Probus Club for Nowra South Probus Club’s Friendship Day, a celebration filled with fun, activities, food, and guest speakers.

This month, the Dining Group gathered at Yes I Am Thai in Ulladulla — and the happy faces say it all. Great food, great company.

A Wonderful Reason to Gather
Members of the club recently came together for a delightful morning tea in support of the Cancer Council. It was a lovely, sunny day filled with delicious food and fun games.

Mollymook Beach, Ulladulla, Nowra Ladies, and Nowra South Probus Clubs: Lightning Ridge Adventure Update - Sheepyard and Community War Memorial.
Although our visit did not coincide with Anzac Day, our time at the memorial provided an opportunity to honor the sacrifices made by others during times of conflict.

We had an incredible three days filled with warm hospitality, great food, and insightful experiences into the world of opal mining. A big thank you to the following individuals and organisation’s for making this adventure possible:

The Club in the Scrub
And the biggest surprise of all, the Opal Miners Hall of Fame – truly breathtaking and a must-see during your visit.

A special shoutout to Glenn from Coach Holidays and Tours for ensuring our travels were seamless.
