🚨 Event Update – Al’s Skate Event at Magorra Park 🚨

For everyone attending Al’s Skate event today at Magorra Park, please note there is also a rally happening, so the area will be a hive of activity.

👉 For safety, please follow these directions:
• Enter by driving around the entire oval via the caravan park
• Continue onto the grass area between the oval and the golf course
• Do not drive on the oval or the golf course
• Park in the lower area and walk up the small hill to the netball courts

🌧️ With the recent rain, please take extra care to avoid damaging the ground.

🛹🎨 Free Skate Park Fun for Valley Kids!

Calling all local kids and families! Come down to the Magorra Park Sporting Precinct in Mitta Mitta on Saturday, March 21st for a fun afternoon with Al’s Skate Co.

Enjoy a FREE skate park session with skate & scooter coaching, creative art workshops, and some awesome giveaways. Whether you're just starting out or already love the skate park, it's a great chance to learn new skills and hang out with friends.

🦆 Rubber Ducky Drop Winner Announcement! 🦆

What a fantastic day at the Mitta Muster! We’re excited to confirm that the winner of this year’s Rubber Ducky Drop was Duck #65 🎉. Even better, the lucky family from Myrtleford was there on the day to claim their prize!

The event was a huge success for the Mitta Mitta Youth Association and raised important funds that will help us run our inaugural youth event. Stay tuned kids… we’ll be announcing what we have planned very soon! 👀

A HUGE thank you to the Mitta Muster Committee for hosting such a great event and allowing us to once again drop 200 ducks from a helicopter – always a crowd favourite! 🚁🦆

We also couldn’t have done it without the incredibly generous support of our event sponsor Helifly, who made the special trip to join in the fun and make it all possible. Marianne, you are AMAZING! 🙌

Thanks to everyone who bought a duck and supported our Association. We can’t wait to bring great opportunities for fun to the young people in our community!

🦆🚁 LOOK UP, MITTA! ITS RAINING DUCKS!!! 🚁🦆

Our 3rd Rubber Duck Drop is back at The Might Mitta Muster on Sunday 8 March — and yes, they’ll be dropped from a HELICOPTER 😲

At approx 5.30pm, our legends at Helifly will unleash 200 fearless rubber ducks from the sky. It’s gravity vs duck… and gravity is feeling confident.

🎯 Closest duck to the pin wins $1,000 CASH
🦆 Only 200 ducks available
💵 $20 per duck

🎟️ Tickets available from local families prior to the event, or can be purchased on the day (if any ducks are still brave enough to enlist).

Best of all, every quacking dollar raised supports the newly formed Mitta Mitta Youth Association, helping improve facilities and create more fun opportunities for young people across the Mitta Valley 💛

So grab a duck, tell your mates, and don’t forget to look up at 5.30pm — it’s raining ducks for a great cause! 🦆🚁

****UPDATE - Event Postponed***

After looking at the busy calendar over the next few weeks, we’ve decided to unfortunately postpone the upcoming Halloween Disco. With so many other events happening that evening, we felt it was best to postpone and avoid adding to the scheduling chaos!

We’re now thinking about possibly organising a fun Christmas themed event instead 🎄🎅 something festive the kids (and parents!) can all enjoy.

We’d love to hear your ideas or suggestions! If you have any thoughts on what you’d like to see or help out with, feel free to comment below or message us directly.

🌟 Welcome to the Mitta Mitta Youth Association! 🌟

We’re a bunch of locals and parents who’ve come together to give the kids of the Mitta Valley more chances to have fun, try new things, and get involved in the community. 💚

The Mitta Mitta Youth Association is all about creating opportunities for our young people — whether that’s through weekend activities, school holiday programs, events, or fundraising to support it all.

👧👦 From sports and games to arts, outings, and just hanging out — we’re here to make sure the kids of the valley have more to look forward to.
