Cinema Paradiso shows films once a months. As the end-credits have rolled on the Mission Beach Film Festival, which ran for three years, a new team of dedicated local film buffs has formed the Mission Beach Film Club – Cinema Paradiso, to ensure that our coastal town retains a vibrant film culture of quality films. The club is part of the Federation of Queensland Film Societies and operates under
the umbrella of the Mission Beach Community Arts Centre Inc. Once a month we will bring the cinema to Mission Beach, offering a wide range of films for all tastes, from Hollywood to Bollywood, from mainstream to art house. Our films are shown at the C4 Theatrette next to Information Center North Mission Beach. Screening starts at 7 pm, socialising (doors open) from 6.30 pm. We welcome your feedback and suggestions. Please let us know what you would like to see on the big screen! We are a not-for-profit organisation and operate by membership only. If you wish to see our films, please become a member. Annual, quarterly and short-term memberships are available in advance or at the door on screening nights. Visitors are welcome and can join us with temporary membership for one screening with a 2nd screening free of charge.
